Summer Team

Laurie has spent most of her career in education; 14 of which at Humber College, Lakeshore Campus. She is the owner of Funny Bones alongside with her husband John and they live right in the neighbourhood. She is passionate about the importance of play and gamification!

Sarah is the first employee of Funny Bones and her love of games has grown tremendously over the years of working with us! She enjoys camping, and spreading her love of games to everyone she meets! If you see Sarah, ask about her favourite game, she’d love to show you!

Lauren is super excited to be joining the team for the summer! She finished her first year of teachers college at the university of Ottawa and will be going back for year 2 in September. In her free time, she loves exploring the outdoors, doing crafts, and biking. She also loves to travel, and has lived in 5 different cities in the last 5 years!

Andrea is an International student from El Salvador! She is currently studying advertising and is the new Funny Bones Graphic Designer. She has worked between camps and kids tutoring programs both in her hometown and Toronto. Fun fact about her: you can always catch her dancing to random music!

Camila is from Peru, she started studying music at Humber College last year.  She loves working with children and sharing her passion for music!  She'll always have a smile and be willing to help you out! Her favourite thing in the world is to sing and play the keyboard :)

Shannon’s number one job is being an incredible mom to her four children ages 8 to 16. She successfully runs her own business as a teacher/assistant. Her educational background includes a Bachelor in Education from UofT. Fun fact about Shannon is that she loves playing games with friends and family! Her current favourite one is Splendour.
Julie is a registered nurse with extensive experience in all facets of health care. She currently works in family medicine, and is a proud mom of two growing boys age 11 and 14. Fun fact about Julie: her favourite game is Rhino Hero!
